Industrija 4.0 narekuje digitalizacijo procesov, katerega glavno gonilo so podatki. Ti morajo biti verodostojni za nadaljnje odločitve, kar pomeni, da so zajeti v realnem času in na ustrezen način z ustrezno opremo.
Merilna oprema ima pomembno vlogo, saj je procese potrebno povezati s senzorji in opremo (proizvajalca) ter dobavo (distributerja/montažerja) in storitev kalibriranja (kalibracijski laboratoriji), le tako je zagotovljena učinkovita pokritost Industrije 4.0.
- SiMER je interesna povezava proizvajalcev, uporabnikov in zastopnikov merilne opreme.
- SiMER je medsektorska organizacijska enota v okviru Zbornice elektronske in elektroindustrije na GZS.
- Osnovni cilj delovanja sekcije je povezovanje članov in zastopanje skupnih interesov na področju merilne opreme, tehnologij in postopkov.
- Sekcija ni namenjena komercialnemu delovanju članstva na področju njene dejavnosti.
- POVEZOVANJE članov:
a) proizvajalci merilne opreme (elementov, tehnologij, sistemov),
b) uporabniki merilne opreme (proizvodna/storitvena podjetja z lastnimi laboratoriji, ...),
c) prodajalci in distributerji merilne opreme.
- ZASTOPANJE članov:
a) interes članov napram državi (SA, MIRS, ...), organov za ugotavljanje skladnosti in akreditiranih laboratorijev,
b) zastopnikov merilne opreme posredno preko ZEE v Orgalim in drugih mednarodnih združenjih s področja merilne opreme.
V ta namen sekcija SiMER predvsem:
- zastopa interese članov,
- zbira, obdeluje in posreduje informacije, pomembne za člane,
- skrbi za medsebojno sodelovanje med člani,
- izvaja podporo skupnim akcijam (npr. skupnim konferencam, ...),
- predstavlja delo članov doma in v tujini,
- opravlja druge storitve, potrebne za doseganje osnovnih ciljev.
Sekcija ima tudi Izvršilni Odbor kateri je sestavljen iz:
- predstavnikov podjetij proizvajalcev merilne opreme,
- predstavnikov podjetij uporabnikov merilne opreme,
- predstavnikov organov za ugotavljanje skladnosti,
- predstavnika prodajalcev / distributerjev merilne opreme.
